I'm blatantly stealing this item from Joe this morning, but thought it was part of my duty to share this website with you.  If you are into jocks, DILFs (or GILFs as people are saying now), and muscles you should check out Guys with iPhones - a site where um, guys with iPhones, post pics of themselves.

Me, I haven't mastered the self pic with the iPhone - it is that damn touch screen, but I digress.

NYC Low Flying Airplane Just a "Photo Op" - Buildings Evacuate

This morning around 10:00 a jumbo airliner began circling around New York Harbor - just above the Statue of Liberty and the World Financial Center.  The airliner was being tailed by a F-16 fighter jet.  This created a justifiable momentary sense of panic, causing the market to drop, and initiating evacuations of several buildings in lower Manhattan and Jersey City. 

Turns out it was all what the FAA called a military "photo op".  The FAA assured everyone that it had been planned in advance and was a known event.  Known to everyone except the public of course. 

I can't think of a more stupid, idiotic thing to do than fly a replica of Air Force One over lower Manhattan with fighter jets on its tail.  WITHOUT NOTIFYING THE PUBLIC!

There have been numerous parodies, but this one tackles the argument head on. 

40 till 40

I am turning 40 next week (on tax day!), and as I reflected on these 40 years, I thought it would be fun  interesting   important  to try a little experiment - my own version of Lent if you will.  So I embarked on my "40 till 40" - forty days without some of my vices:

• Alcohol
• Isn't that bad enough?
• Fast Food: defined as Wendy's McDonalds and the like.
• Soft Drinks

And so for the last 36 days I have done without.  I am proud to say I am 100% in compliance. I'm also proud to say I didn't have any major withdrawal issues (except the soft drinks, which has proved to be be the hardest category).  Clearly I expected my body to simply revolt at the lack of alcohol.  Now that the end of this experiment is over I am expecting to walk into a McDonalds on Wednesday to have french fries and a bottle of Vueve Clicquot.  The tragedy is that I'll probably pass out flat drunk after two glasses.

Now if porn had been on that list, I'd be telling you a different story.
